VIDEO: DRDO gets success in developing future unmanned aircraft, see this UAV flight

Bangalore. The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has achieved great success in flying a special unmanned aircraft (UAV) on Friday. This flight was completed at the Aeronautical Test Range in Chitradurga, Karnataka, in which the first flight of the Autonomous Flying Wing Technology Demonstrator was tested. The most important thing is that in this the plane did all the work itself from flying to landing. DRDO has given this information in its statement. This will go a long way in developing future unmanned aircraft. Its video has also been released.

DRDO said in the statement that the biggest thing about the aircraft is its automation. Without any help, the plane can do all the work from take off to landing. That includes take off, way point navigation and easy ground touchdown. This is an important step towards self-reliance in strategic defense technology.

Defense Minister tweeted congratulations
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has congratulated DRDO on this success by tweeting. He said that on behalf of Chitradurga ATR, congratulations on the first successful flight of the Autonomous Flying Wing Technology Demonstrator. This is a major achievement in the direction of preparing autonomous aircraft.
