New Delhi. History was created on Friday in the T20 Blast tournament being played in England. This feat was done by Birmingham Bears against Worcestershire. Birmingham won this match by a huge margin of 144 runs. This is the biggest win in terms of runs in the history of this tournament. The hero of Birmingham’s victory was a batsman, he created such a furor with the bat that the bowlers kept rubbing their hands. The name of this batsman is Adam Hosse. Adam played a stormy innings in this match and took his team Birmingham to a big score of 228 runs in 20 overs. In response, Worcestershire were bundled out for 84 runs in 15.3 overs and thus Birmingham won the match by 144 runs. José, who scored 110 not out in 53 balls, was the player of the match.

Hosey came out to bat in this match when his team had lost 2 wickets within 3 runs. Worcestershire bowler Mitchell Stanley returned the pavilion to Birmingham batsmen Alex Davis and Sam Hahn for two consecutive deliveries. Both these batsmen could not even open the account. After this, Hose came out to bat and despite losing two wickets, he started batting as soon as he came. The third blow to the team was on the score of 51 runs. Rob Yates got out after scoring 20 runs. But, Hosey’s style of batting did not change.

After his dismissal, Hosse did not get the support of any other Birmingham batsman. However, he single-handedly overpowered the Worcestershire bowlers and scored 110 runs in 53 balls with 13 fours and 4 sixes. He remained unbeaten till the end. Thanks to his innings, Birmingham scored a big score of 228 runs in 20 overs.

Worcestershire team bundled out for 84 runs
Worcestershire needed 229 runs to win. But, this English team could not handle the pressure of such a big target and half the team returned to the pavilion as soon as 50 runs were added to the scoreboard. After that it would have been difficult for any team to return. So, the same situation happened in Worcestershire and the whole team got out for 84 runs in 15.3 overs. Danny Briggs took 4 wickets for Birmingham.
