Jaipur: Leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party in Udaipur, Rajasthan (Udaipur Incident) The Congress government in the state was attacked over the alleged slitting of a tailor’s throat by two men and alleged that Marudhar Pradesh was on the way to become a “Taliban” state under its rule.

It is to be known that on Monday, two men allegedly slit their throats to death of a tailor named Kanhaiyalal in Udaipur’s Dhanmandi police station area and put a video on social media saying that he did this to avenge the ‘insult to Islam’.

After the incident, curfew has been imposed in seven police station areas of Udaipur till further orders at 8 pm and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has appealed to the public to maintain peace. Both the men, who allegedly carried out the broad day murder, took responsibility for the crime by posting an online video and the police have taken them into custody.

‘This incident is the result of Muslim appeasement’

Taking a dig at the government led by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for this incident, BJP spokesperson and MP Rajyavardhan Rathod said in a series of tweets, “Rajasthan on the way to become a Talibani state under Congress rule. The Muslim appeasement of the Congress has increased the audacity of the jihadis to such an extent that they are openly killing Hindus and threatening the Prime Minister. This anarchy is the result of the Gehlot government giving relaxation to the miscreants of a particular religion.

He blamed the Gehlot government for this “dastardly incident” and said it happened because this government left the main rioter of Karauli riot open and Maulana threatened to take the neck of Hindus in Tonk but no action was taken .

He said, “This killer also kept threatening genocide by making videos, but the government remained silent.” If appeasement limits are crossed, the environment becomes a victim of bloody animosity. He claimed that the police ignored the complaint against the accused, with dire consequences.

“This incident is part of a conspiracy to terrorize the civilized society. Gehlot ji cannot get away from making flat statements. Their responsibility is to make every citizen feel safe and to stop the reasons due to which such crimes and criminals are flourishing. Because of its one-sided policies, the state government is standing in the dock anyway.

Condemning the incident, Union Minister and Rajya Sabha member Bhupendra Yadav said, “The brutal murder of an innocent person shows that there is jungle raj under Ashok Gehlot’s rule. It is only when the government makes appeasement a model of governance. This situation is condemnable.”

In a video clip, an alleged assailant can be heard saying that he has beheaded a man. He also threatened Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that “this knife will reach him too”. He also indirectly referred to Nupur Sharma who was suspended from the BJP for a remark on Prophet Mohammad.
