Mumbai. Amidst the political stir in Maharashtra, now the process of accusations and counter-allegations has started in the constituent parties of Mahavikas Aghadi. Maharashtra Congress has made a big allegation on Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader Ajit, saying that he withheld their development funds to Congress MLAs and ministers and harassed them. Congress state president Nana Patole accused Deputy Chief Minister and senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar of harassing Congress MLAs and ministers and withholding their development funds.
harassed even our ministers
Some rebel Shiv Sena MLAs have alleged that the NCP refused them development funds. In the background of this, Patole has given this statement. Patole said, Ajit Pawar harassed Congress MLAs and even ministers. We opposed this and said that the government is for the welfare of the people. Our opposition to such practices is not political. Meanwhile, downplaying Patole’s allegation, senior NCP leader and minister Chhagan Bhujbal said, “Leaders even within parties complain against each other, there is no need to take it too seriously.”
I have no role in the fund: Pawar
Earlier, Ajit Pawar denied the allegation of the rebel MLAs in which he had alleged that the Finance Minister discriminated against us. Ajit Pawar said that whatever fund is earmarked, it comes through the cabinet. We have no role in this. After the rebel MLAs, the Congress leader has also made a similar allegation.
