New Delhi. The Central Government has made changes in the guidelines related to Kovid and infection prevention strategy on Wednesday. Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has given this information to the states and union territories through a letter. It has been said that the revised surveillance strategy related to Kovid should be taken care of. In this, attention has been asked to focus on early detection, testing and subsequent management of suspected and confirmed corona cases.

Rajesh Bhushan has said in the letter that vigilance is necessary to stop the increasing infection of Corona. For this, all the states will have to stop the infection by making a strategy keeping security. For this, identification of corona case as soon as possible, immediate test is necessary. Variants of Corona and its trends will also have to be monitored for a long time.

Keep an eye on passengers coming from other countries
States should monitor their international passengers and some of them should also undergo RT:PCR test. All samples should be sent for genome sequencing. If symptoms of corona are found in a passenger, then immediate attention will have to be paid for his isolation and treatment. Also, it should not spread the infection, it should be managed.

Monitoring from hospitals and other health centers
It has been said in the letter that patients coming to hospitals and other health centers for corona cases should be monitored. If their corona test comes positive, then along with their treatment, measures will have to be taken immediately to prevent the spread of infection. Instead of one-time monitoring, frequent surveys will have to be done, so that the corona can be stopped immediately from spreading. For this, sewage and wastewater survey should also be done. Proper management will have to be done for the guidelines to be followed in all the districts.
