Lenovo Legion Halo gaming phone is coming with 16GB RAM and powerful processor


New Delhi. Lenovo is working on a new Legion branded gaming phone codenamed “Halo”. Reports have revealed that it will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-series chipset, but it will sport a toned-down design in comparison to the current Legion Y90 gaming smartphone. This device was recently spotted on the 3C certification site (via) in China.

The Geekbench listing suggests that the Lenovo Legion Helo will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The listing does not directly mention the name of the SoC, but the details about the CPU and GPU confirm that it will get the SD8+G1 chip. Earlier this phone was seen on China’s 3C certification website.

The company will offer four CPU cores
According to the Geekbench listing, the company will offer four CPU cores in this phone. In this, the primary core is of 3.19GHz and the remaining three are clocked at 2.02GHz. The CPU given in the phone works together with the Adreno 730 GPU. This phone has got a score of 1299 in Geekbench’s single-core test and 3953 in the multi-core test.

triple camera unit
Previous reports have revealed that the Legion Halo will feature a 6.67-inch P-OLED FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It will come with up to 16 GB of LPPDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device will include a 16-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 13-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro/depth) ) will come with a triple camera unit. The handset will get a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
