Summer Vacation In Jammu & Kashmir And Leh Schools To Begin From This Date: Summer vacations are going to start soon in Jammu and Kashmir and Leh. While schools have opened after the holidays in other states, Jammu and Kashmir is preparing to close the state schools. Along with this, summer vacations have been declared due to rising Kovid cases in Leh. A 15-day summer vacation has been declared here. While issuing the notice, the Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department informed that the summer vacations are starting from July 04 in both the divisions.
What does the DM of Leh have to say?
District Magistrate, Leh, Shrikant Balasahib Susey issued an order ordering 15 days summer vacation for schools from 4th July. It has been said in the order that in view of the increase in Kovid cases, summer vacations are being pre-poned to prevent the spread of infection especially among children and to break this chain of infection. That is, the holidays are being started ahead of time. More than 60 Kovid cases have been reported in Ladakh in the last 6 days.
What was the order for Jammu and Kashmir?
An official notice was issued in this regard by the Principal Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department, BK Singh. It said that all government educational institutions working in winter zone of Kashmir division and Jammu division and recognized private schools up to higher secondary level will have summer vacation from July 4 to July 14, 2022. Everyone has to follow this order.
