IND vs IRE 2nd T20: Hardik eyeing first series win as captain, young players will have to show their strength

Malahide. In the second and final Test against Ireland on Tuesday, India will expect a better performance and clear weather from their young players like Umran Malik. The first match was reduced to 12-12 overs due to rain. Tomorrow also the weather is expected to be bad, which can have an effect on this match as well. Due to injury, Rituraj Gaikwad could not bat on Sunday and the same change will happen in the team if he is not fully fit.

In the T20 series against England next month, a strong team is to be fielded. Therefore, this match against Ireland is an opportunity for the young players to show their potential. Fast bowler Umran would definitely like to capitalize on this opportunity. It would not be right to assess him on the basis of one over that was expensive in Sunday’s match. It was the sixth over of the innings and Harry Tector took full advantage of Umran’s pace.

Umran’s performance will be monitored
Captain Hardik Pandya has already said that Umran bowls better than the old ball. So he was given a chance after the powerplay. Bhuvneshwar Kumar managed to trouble the Irish batsmen with his skill of swinging the ball from both sides. Avesh Khan could not perform as expected in the death over and he would like to improve on it .

India has to curb tractor
Indian bowlers will have to curb the bat of tractor who is becoming famous for his fearless batting in T20 cricket . Another great innings can get him an IPL contract. Hardik said after winning the first match by seven wickets, some of his shots were visible.

Irish bowlers need to bowl well
Ireland’s batsmen did not disappoint but their bowlers will have to perform better. The fast bowlers struggled to find the rhythm, due to which the Indian batsmen hit fours and sixes in the desired direction. A team like Ireland does not get the opportunity to play against a team like India very often and they will definitely be trying to capitalize on this opportunity. Hooda opened the innings by thrashing off-spinner Andy McBrien and now he will take on these batsmen with better homework.
