It also holds the record for the fastest century as an Indian wicketkeeper. He has broken the record of former captain MS Dhoni. At one time the team had lost 5 wickets for 98 runs. In such a situation, it was difficult for the team to reach 200 runs. But Pant and Jadeja made an unbeaten partnership of more than 200 to take the team past 300 runs. Till the time of writing the news, India has scored 314 runs for 5 wickets in 66 overs. Pant is playing 140 off 109 balls and Ravindra Jadeja scoring 68 runs in 144 balls.

Rishabh Pant scored 20 runs in 4 balls in the 61st over of the innings. Hit 2 fours and 2 sixes. He first hit a four at square leg off left-arm spinner Jack Leach. Then hit a six at long on. On the third ball, he hit a four on backward square leg. Then hit a six off the fourth ball. He scored 22 runs in the over. Team India has so far scored runs in the innings with an economy of more than 4.50. Which is an amazing performance.
