Former advisor to PM Modi, Bhaskar Khulbe becomes OSD in Uttarakhand government, will oversee Badrinath-Kedarnath project


New Delhi. Bhaskar Khulbe has been made Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttarakhand. Khulbe has been a former advisor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has been entrusted with the command of the Badrinath and Kedarnath reconstruction projects. He will play the role of a coordinator between the Center and the state for this project.

While being the advisor to the Prime Minister, Bhaskar Khulbe has been monitoring the Kedarnath and Badrinath projects. A few days ago, he had met Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Chief Secretary Dr. SS Sandhu. Let us tell you that the reconstruction of Kedarnath and Badrinath is the dream project of PM Modi.

Let us tell you that the work on the Badrinath Spiritual City Master Plan has started fast to decorate Badrinath, the abode of Vishnu. Under this master plan to be completed in three phases, a large lake and garden in Sheshnetra area as well as the area around Badrinath main temple is to be developed. Under the first phase, the work of Lake Front Development, River Front Development, Arrival Plaza, Civic Amenity Centre, Loop Road, Expansion of Hospital and Roads of Border Roads Organization is in progress. In the second phase, development around the Badrinath main temple and in the third phase from the lake to the temple, faith path and other works are to be done.

Bhaskar Khulbe was made an advisor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February 2020. Bhaskar Khulbe is a 1983 batch IAS officer of West Bengal. He is a graduate in Zoology. He did a course in Social Policy from the United Kingdom in 1994. He has worked in various positions in the Land Revenue Departments in West Bengal.
